The Self

Hey everyone!

First and foremost, LOVE YOU. Thank you for reading, everyone that follows this blog, thank you thank you. I only wish to share what will benefit our species in the long run. Whether that be something to intelligently debate about, or something to privately contemplate. Things that will resonate with you, and every part of you. Your mind, your body, your soul. On that note…I’ve recently had the pleasure of sharing a wonderfully positive atmosphere with this radical band; The Self. They ARE…they just ARE…describing is frivolous so I must ask you to PLEASE check out their band page. If you like Music, this is a must listen to band, if it’s not your style, that’s okay! I respect that! I’m sure they do too! But even if you don’t like listening, check them out on ReverbNation for their lyrics.

They have some extremely powerful insight into our current state of being. Ever since I’ve shared a stage with them, I’ve been inspired to keep pushing for what I believe through my Music, because they’re sure as Love. I’ve even decided to start my own religion…it’s called, Self…I live it every day. There’s not a moment where I’m not in it. So I figure, if anyone can create anything, I’ll put a plug into the religion pool, I’ll put a plug in the science pool, I’ll put a plug into Humanity, a Love plug. Electro-magnetic-Love…EML. Merge science and religion and you have Life.

re·li·gion

noun

1.

set of beliefs concerning the cause, nature, and purpose of the universe, especially when considered as the creation of a superhuman agency or agencies, usually involving devotional and ritual observances, and often containing a moral code governing the conduct of human affairs.
2.

a specific fundamental set of beliefs and practices generally agreed upon by a number of persons or sects: the Christian religion; the Buddhist religion.
3.

the body of persons adhering to a particular set of beliefs and practices: a world council of religions.
4.

the life or state of a monk, nun, etc.: to enter religion.
5.

the practice of religious  beliefs; ritual observance of faith.

So here are the 3 rules of the Self religion (by which I will define as thus, “adhering to a particular set of beliefs and practices”)

1. Breathe
2. Love
3. Live the You, and no one else.

These are the rules for Self religion. That’s it. You don’t need to subscribe, you don’t need to make any donations, you don’t need to worry about being judged, prosecuted, discriminated against, tortured, threatened, segregated, hung, burned, buried, eaten, dropped, dipped, stretched, squished. Though I warn, you might feel an inexplicable bliss, a euphoric ecstasy, radiating through the very fiber of your being, a vibrating, pulsing peace that allows you to engage energy in the air, inside of you, and inside everyone you will ever experience.

Glorious Sound Experience

This band has taken the synthesis of music, cultural analysis, and introspective heartfelt psychedelic tales of sonorous character to a new level. Igneous Grimm is worth every second of your time; as contradictory as that might be to some of the messages in their songs. What does time mean to you? Take a listen, slip into the cosmos, comfortably caressed by this amazing band!
